Recreation Center Design in Denver
Environments Denver worked in collaboration with architecture firm Perkins+Will to outfit the Bison Ridge Recreation Center with new furniture throughout its public and office spaces. During the recreation design center process, there were many opportunities to introduce fun textiles and timeless furniture designs to promote exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
Larger scale Andreu World sofas, Keilhauer ottomans, and a live-edge wood meeting table from Windfall Lumber were integrated into the entry to compliment the striking architectural elements of the space. The Tech Commons were accented with EKO lounge furniture and First Office tables to create a relaxing space for teens to hang out with their friends and utilize technology. A high-energy space called The Child’s Watch area utilized a vibrant color pallet and petite Leland and Arcadia furniture to create a playful and fun atmosphere for toddlers. On the second floor, HBF benches offer sleek lines and a quick spot to sit along the indoor running track. The furniture selected for the different spaces focused on style and comfort for specific end-user age groups, and made each one an enjoyable place to exercise and socialize.
