Step One: Project Startup

We begin by arranging an initial project meeting. During this step of the process, we evaluate the current facilities, obtain electronic plans from our client, and conduct a thorough tour of the site to understand the basic building services and systems.

Step Two: Programming

During this stage, we determine the proposed project budget and the proposed project schedule. We then gather information and conduct interviews to gain an in-depth understanding of our client’s needs and requirements. Critical points we ask about include current and projected staffing requirements, departmental functions, and relationships and adjacencies.

Step Three: Schematic Design

Once we have all the information we need to begin your project, we coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and communications consultants to determine location and adjacency requirements. Then, our team prepares and presents a schematic design. Upon the client’s approval, we prepare a cost estimate.

Step Four: Design Development

At this point, we prepare a detailed space plan in accordance with the approved program and schematic plan. Next, we begin suggesting materials and furniture that reflect the design concept. Our team then prepares preliminary plans, including power/communication suggestions. To complete this stage of our process, we prepare a design development package including brochures, finish samples, overall floor plans, and 3D drawings for client approval.

Step Five: Furniture Equipment

Our goal is to help you bring your dream office to life. In this crucial stage, we recommend the use of new or existing items and develop inventories of existing equipment identified for relocation. We also present new furniture options for your consideration and prepare a preliminary budget for approval. Upon approval by the client, we review furniture plans for compliance with authorities that have jurisdiction.

Step Six: Furniture Procurement, Delivery, and Installation

After receiving customer approval of the final quote and plans, we collect a deposit of 50% and place the order. We then check the manufacturer acknowledgements and verify shipping schedules. Throughout this step, our specialists maintains close contact with the construction and/or project manager to continually monitor site readiness. Once the products arrive, we begin the installation process before completing the final walkthrough, punch list, and inspections with the client.

Step Seven: Customer Satisfaction
