Patricia has worked in the design industry for over 23 years, and is a National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certified interior designer; an International Interior design Association member (IIDA); and an American Institute of Architects Associate Member (AIA). She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Iowa State University and a Master’s of Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver.
Patricia’s work experience with local Denver interior and architectural design firms range from residential to hospitality, as well as commercial design projects both large and small. Her passion for creativity and education lead to appointment as a faculty member with the Art Institute of Colorado for over 13 years. She taught skills throughout the curriculum with a focus on technical, programmatic and conceptual development. Patricia has played an integral part in the development and advancement of the interior design program as the Academic Standards Committee Co-Chair and the Assessment Committee Lead for the Interior Design Department.
In her spare time, you might find Patricia enjoying the outdoors with her family while biking, skateboarding or playing on the golf course. You won’t find her making dinner unless it happens to be chocolate chip cookies.
